How to Make Pav Bhaji Fondue
1. Make the Bhaji Base
Heat butter in a pan and sauté the chopped onion and capsicum until soft. Add tomatoes, turmeric, red chilli powder and pav bhaji masala. Cook until the tomatoes become soft and the mixture turns rich and aromatic.
2. Add the Vegetables
Add the boiled and mashed vegetables along with salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes, adding a little water to achieve a thick, smooth and dippable consistency.
3. Make It Cheesy
Stir in the grated cheese and cook until it melts completely into the bhaji. Finish with lemon juice and fresh coriander.
4. Build the Fondue
Transfer the hot pav bhaji into a fondue bowl or deep serving bowl. Sprinkle grated cheese and fresh coriander over the top.
5. Serve with Makinos
Arrange Makinos Cheese Nachos around the bowl in a circle. Dip each crunchy nacho into the warm pav bhaji fondue and enjoy immediately.
Crunch Pro Tip
Keep the pav bhaji warm while serving and add the cheese just before bringing it to the table. This keeps the fondue smooth and dippable while the Makinos Nachos stay perfectly crunchy.
